Write for ONMix!

We're opening up ONMix. You can now send your articles to us, and they'll go up, right there, on the front page. Your article can be about anything. Seen a good show, heard some good music or played a good game you want to review? Want to comment on something else? It's all good. All you have to do is send us your article, in its completed form, to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , along with a couple of images to decorate your article.

Here are a few things to remember when writing your articles:

1. Use a spellchecker. A few typos won't worry us, but if your article is less readable than a 3 year old's writing then we won't be as inclined to publish it.
2. As Sir Big B of Coolbyte once said, "Brevity is the soul of wit." Basically, keep it short if you're able. There's nothing wrong with writing a large article with lots of different points and arguments, but make sure you don't reiterate points needlessly.
3. Remember The Six P's - Proper Planning Prevents Piss-Poor Performance. Know what you're going to write about before you write.
4. Article Images: You should submit at least two images to go with your article. You need a thumbnail image, size 150x150px, and a larger image of size 680x290px. These images are both for the the showreel on the front page, which is where all new articles go when they're first published. If you have a long article, you can also choose a few pictures for decoration - there is a width limit of 650px for these.
